WiNS Panel Discussion : Harassment, Bullying & Power Abuse

How can we create meaningful change in the university culture at ETH? In this event, we will discuss how surveys on university culture such as SWiMS, wiegETHs and the Culture of Respect Survey can provide valuable insights into experiences of harassment, bullying and abuse of power and lead to meaningful change if they are done right. After brief input talks from EPFL on the Culture of Respect Survey and AVETH on wiegETHs and SWiMS, the panelists with representatives from EPFL Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, AVETH and ETH Diversity & Cooperation will discuss how survey results and reporting mechanisms can be translated into concrete action, what barriers prevent reporting of incidents, and how effective follow-up might look like.
