<p>This talk will introduce <em>The Transmitter</em>, a neuroscience news site for neuroscientists, and its mission to provide independent, in-depth coverage of the field. I will highlight our <em>State of Neuroscience</em> project, including analyses of 50 years of neuroscience literature, highly cited papers, and surveys on training, funding and emerging technologies. I’ll also outline practical ways researchers can engage with <em>The Transmitter</em>—from pitching op-eds to sharing research news.
